The Blue Box is a community upliftment and empowerment initiative that is designed to create employment opportunities, whilst positioning affordable food products closer within reach of people in our townships.
It is a container based retail initiative, located in our vibrant townships, with the aim of supplying our vibrant local people with an inexpensive frozen meat product that is within physical reach. No more long drives to get their source of protein, it is now on their doorstep!
Protein is an important and vital source of nutrition for our people, and therefore The Blue Box is proud to now offer a product that is of good value for money & easily accessible locally. We offer a wide variety of frozen meat products, from chicken through to beef to ready made options such as meatballs and burger patties.
In order to provide our vibrant township people with genuine opportunity for employment and empowerment, The Blue Box takes on the responsibility of for training and upskilling of these selected community members that show sufficient entrepreneurial skill. Respondents are selected through a screening process, and they are then provided with infrastructure to really utilize the skills they have been taught.
